This organic decaf comes from Chiapas in Mexico and is decaffeinated using the Mountain Water process. The coffee has a full body, tastes sweet and spicy and is also good to prepare for milk coffee such as cappuccinos.

The Mountain Water decaf process uses clear, pure water from the glaciers of the highest mountains in Mexico. During the decaffeination process, the green coffee beans are immersed in this water to extract the caffeine. The water contains the soluble components of the coffee beans that hold the elements of the individual coffee flavor, so that during the extraction of the caffeine, the beans retain their original flavor components. Once the decaffeination process is complete, the beans are dried, packaged, and shipped to our roastery so that we can roast these beans for optimum flavor.
