The latest iteration of Isa is the most beautiful one yet. For Isa, we select a high-grown washed coffee from Latin America in the most classic style: balanced, bright, sweet, and easy to drink. This year’s iteration marks a return to a favorite program in Colombia: The Los Osos project in Santa Maria in the province of Huila. Los Osos means “The Bears” and is so called for conservation efforts to protect the indigenous Spectacled Bear that go alongside with the coffee project. Los Osos in the cup is a perfect blend of brightness, sweetness, and body, with balanced flavors of citrus and chocolate. The personal daily-drinker of our head roaster, Isa makes a flavorful espresso and a beautifully balanced filter coffee.
