A coffee born out of love between the couple of Gloria and Jarmo, she a make-up artist from Kenya and he, an engineer from Finland. Sharing a desire to plant sustainable crops in Kenya, they started with coffee trees in 2010. They took it upon themselves to take their coffee directly to the specialty market at shows and conventions, skipping past the predatory big traders. The outstanding specialty quality quickly garnered the attention of boutique importers. This is Coffee & Coconuts first lot from Gloria and Jarmo; when we tasted the coffee and learned the story, we bought up every bag that was available. Bright, complex, layered, and full of fruit flavor, this coffee makes excellent espresso or filter.
